Social Anxiety Cure

It is such a difficult thing to deal with social anxiety! I mean can you imagine having to worry each time you go out of your house that someone will be watching you? This isn't about the idea that they are out to get you, but that they are just going to laugh at you or worse still make fun of you.

I suffered form social anxiety for many years. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on until I looked up my symptoms on the Internet. I found out that all my sweaty palms when I stood up on front of people at work and my nervousness was due to social anxiety.

I decided to find my own social anxiety cure. I did research and tried everything that people said that you could do to stop social anxiety. I tried doctors, but all they wanted to do was put me on medication and try some strange therapy. Although I have respect for both of these things I knew that this was not going to be a social anxiety cure that I wanted to try.

I went to many health care practitioners looking for a social anxiety cure until I came upon several things that actually worked. I started with simple things, like eliminating alcohol of any kind from my diet. I stopped staying up late all the time and began to get more sleep. I also stopped drinking coffee. Once I found the right cure for myself I decided to share this social anxiety cure with others.

Hypochondriac Help

When you find out that you are a hypochondriac it can get very crazy. It's not like you decided to wake up one day and decide that you would be totally afraid about your health. Usually it is something that is very subtle and you may not realize that it is happening until you are in the middle of it.

When you know you are preoccupied with your health and whether you are going to live or die, it is time to get hypochondriac help. There are many solutions to this problem and you do not have to go too far to look.

Most people start with their doctors. Doctors can be a good place to start, but they will probably want to put you on more medication. This can cause even more problems for the individual who is looking for hypochondriac help.

Sometimes you have to be your own hypochondriac help. I understand this because I found that I needed a couple of things to help myself. The first thing I did was find a good therapist who offered Cognitive Behavior Therapy. This made me face my anxiety around my health.

Once I realized how silly this whole thing of being afraid that I was going to die was, I was able to put my fears and worries down. I have created more information for you if you are seeking hypochondriac help. You can find out about my five day email course by clicking on the link.

Shyness and social anxiety

I have always been a shy person by nature. In fact, my mother has tried to get me out of my shell because I was so awkward as a child. I found out later in life that my behavior was due to shyness and social anxiety. I just was shy because I didn't want people to notice me.

I found out that when I was going through life and not wanting to talk to anyone, this was just my way of dealing with my shyness and social anxiety. By not talking to people I didn't have to risk embarrassment. If I had to interact with people, my anxiety would start small and before you knew it I would be sweating like I had just run a marathon.I was almost paralyzed with fear at times, because I just couldn't bear to have people staring at me or interacting with me in any way for fear that I would do something to mess up. If you know what I mean, and are relating to me in any way, then you also are probably suffering from shyness and social anxiety.

The good news is that you can do something about it, and you don't have to worry about medication. I have discovered some natural ways to take care of my shyness and anxiety and I am passing them on to other people.

A few things I did were to stop drinking my lattes and start getting enough sleep. These two things coupled with my other natural remedies helped me stop my shyness and social anxiety.

Hypochondriac Disorder

Many doctors miss or blow off the fact that people suffer from a hypochondriac disorder. They think it is something that will go away on its own, or that it is nothing to worry about. What some doctors do not know is that it will create problems for their patients in ways they cannot imagine.

As a past hypochondriac myself, I can tell you that having this disorder is not fun, especially when you add social anxiety to it. I used to torture myself all the time with every little symptom that came up. Whether it was a new blemish on my skin, or a new pain I thought I was experiencing, I ran to my doctor for reassurance.

What is really weird about a hypochondriac disorder is that it actually is symptoms that people make up. As an example, if you have a slight pain that happens to be in your head, and you convince yourself that you have a brain tumor, you can make your head hurt worse.

One good thing that I found about treating my own hypochondriac disorder was Cognitive Behavior Therapy. This helped me to deal with my fear head on, and made me accept that my fears were not warranted.

What I finally realized that the key to solving this hypochondriac disorder was to find out what all the triggers for any anxiety were, and alleviate those triggers. I have put my ideas of how to do this into a five day email course that is available to readers of my blog.

Social Anxiety Test

Do you ever notice that you often give yourself tests on some things that don't make sense? As an example, when you are having some types of behavior that you might consider weird, do you see yourself trying them over and over to see if you will still do them?

To people who don't do this activity it might sound crazy, but if you have ever given yourself a social anxiety test you know what I am talking about.

If you think that you might have social anxiety than there are several questions to ask yourself that will help you determine if this is true.

Here is a short social anxiety test for you:

- Do you hate going out in public for fear that someone will laugh at you?
- Do you turn down dates because you're afraid you'll do something stupid on the date that will make your date hate you?
- Do you hate to eat or drink in public because you think someone will see you and criticize you?
- Do you avoid speaking up at work because you are afraid your ideas will be laughed at?

If you answer yes, to any of these questions then you have just passed a social anxiety test. These are all symptoms of social anxiety that are important to note. However, there is help. I discovered very natural ways to deal with my own social anxiety test and I am passing them on to others.

What is a hypochondriac?

I was talking to my friends the other day and we were talking about how each of us felt like a hypochondriac at some time in our life, while we were dealing with our social anxiety. The problem was that we all had an idea of what a hypochondriac was, but we didn't have a real definition. So we asked ourselves, what is a hypochondriac?

For some people being a hypochondriac means that they are always taking some type of medication thinking that they are sick or dying. This is not a behavior that is good for someone especially when they are usually not sick.

I know what it is like though, because my doctors missed the fact that I was a hypochondriac because they were only looking at my social anxiety. They wanted to change that and I had to finally ask them what is a hypochondriac? I knew that I was dealing with this problem but didn't know what to do.

Today, I am helping other people answer the question what is a hypochondriac for themselves.

Hypochondria can make you feel crazy. I remember that every time there was a change in my skin or my body of any kind I was running to the doctor thinking that something was terribly wrong and I was going to die. I was torturing myself for no reason.

Do these symptoms sound familiar? If so, then you too, are answering the question what is a hypochondriac.

Social Anxiety Symptoms

I was hiding away my life. I didn’t want to talk to people and I certainly didn't want to interact with anyone. I didn't know I was suffering from social anxiety symptoms until I started researching what was happening to me.

I was mostly afraid that I would get out in public and I would embarrass myself so bad that I would never be able to come out again. I thought everyone was paying so much attention to me that my every move was going to be looked at until they found a way to laugh at me. My social anxiety symptoms were really getting worse.

I can tell you, that although these are social anxiety symptoms, they were stopping me from living my life. They were creating problems that I didn't know I was having. I also found there were a lot of situations that would trigger my anxiety.

Do you have problems in these situations?

- Your friends gently tease you and you want to die.
- You hate being the center of attention on your birthday. You would rather people just forget about it.
- You don't like to talk to your professor because you are afraid they will tell you that you are doing something wrong.

If so it is time to do something about them. You do not always have to go to a doctor for a drug, to help you because there are many ways to stop social anxiety symptoms naturally.

One important one is staying away from caffeine or avoiding alcohol can definitely help you.
